"The most imporant thing in life is to stop saying "I wish" and start saying "I will". Consider nothing impossible, then treat possibilities as probabilities!" Unknown

This is actually something that I have been struggling with for a while, I have said "I wish" many times lately, its time to turn "I wish" into "I will" and start following through with my health goals.

Happy week everyone! :)

Baby Bump Session

I had my first baby bump session last weekend, and it was a super special session for me because it was of my very good friend Maggie and her beautiful belly! Maggie has asked me to be present for her home birth, and let me tell you I am so excited and honoured that she has asked me!

We went to a home birth class a few weeks ago at her midwife's office; all I know is that I was a little unsure of the whole process, and now I know for sure that I will have a midwife the next time around. The extra care that you get compared to seeing a regular OB is unbelievable.

Maggie is due on the 26th, and I cannot wait to be present while her baby girl makes her debut into this world. I am going to bring my camera along so that I capture the process so that Maggie can relive the process of her daughters birth again and again.

Here are the photo's from Maggie's baby bump session :)

I cannot wait to hold her beautiful baby girl, and of course take her newborn session photos very soon! :)

Happy Easter 2012

Of course we do not forget the real reason for Easter , Jesus suffered and died for us, this being the greatest act of love. Then three days later he was resurrected… overcoming death so that we may live again. Although in our house we may not be practicing Catholics, spirituality and faith is important to us, so it is equally important to give thanks while also celebrating all the other activities we do for Easter!

The Easter Bunny did make an appearance at our house in the middle of the night, and for the first time, Loralai understood! When she woke the first thing she said to me was "do you think the Easter Bunny came, Mommy?" I was so excited!!!

Here is a video documenting Easter Bunny's apperance...

Photo Session

I have loved this little old run down gas station on the way to my Great Grandmothers...every time we drove by I thought that I would really like to take some pictures there! Of course, the location is not exactly ideal to take pictures of a preschooler, but it is a really cool location for a senior session! Take a sweet looking girl and pair it with the hard run down looking gas station...this kind of combo is a match made in heaven in my eyes! :)

My beautiful cousin Sarah agreed to be my little model! :) It was starting to get chilly, so we were literally at this site for about 8 minutes!

Easter Previews

We have been doing a lot of Easter celebrating over the last week or so, I believe that the title of the blog is fitting since the activities that we have been partaking in are the previews to the big event tomorrow! :)

1. Making our Easter bunny house
2. Paper macheing our new front door Easter wreath! :)
3. Celebrating Easter with Great Grandma and extended family
4. Easter egg hunt and pottery painting with good friend Chloe
5. Making bunny ears

We also added a new addition to our family! A Betta fish named Monkey.
