Graduation

It is a year of change for a few people in our family... Loralai is of course beginning school, and her cousin Sarah has just graduated high school on June 28th, and will begin her new adventure as a collage student in September.

Loralai and I went to Sarah's graduation, and I took some pictures and video to document the big momentous occasion in her life.

This was my favourite picture! I made this memento for Sarah, and gave it to get in  frame at her grad party.

Many of the pictures that I would feature here on the blog are actually in the video (below), so I wont post them, but here is a pic of lil Lolo with her cousin Brandon! :) I find that they have very similar personalities and quirky expressions, too cute!

Here is the video...I am not a professional at all, but I thought it would be a nice gesture to take bits and pieces and make a special video for Sarah to reflect back on and remember how far she has come.

Love you Sarah! xoxo

School

I am such an excited Mommy! We received a letter from Loralai's school about her start date, in a previous post I mentioned that they will go on the first day of school which is September 4th for just a 10 minute introduction to the teacher, classroom, and routine. Her timing for the introduction is 1:40pm. Then all the JK's are slowly integrated over a 5 day period, well Loralai officially starts school on September 7th!!

She asks me almost everyday if she is going to school today, I think I have to come up with a count down so that she can visualize when she begins.

Happy Friday!!

Keep track of lost teeth!

Loralai has not lost any teeth yet, not even close to be a little bit wiggly at all, but she has been asking  a lot lately about when her teeth are going to fall out. I think that this is because one of her friends at daycare has started to lose her teeth (she is 6). I have been doing a bit of research in regards to when kiddies do start losing their teeth and the average consensus seems to be around 6 years old, but girls typically seem to losing their teeth sooner than little boys.

I know that Loralai just turned 4 and she likely has a long while before she starts to get wiggly teeth, but I thought I would make something to help me document when that time arrives. Here is what I am came up with....

I made it in PSE and when the time comes... I can just pop in the date it happens, and document right here on the blog!
