MomsTown Fun!!

Loralai and I joined a moms network online which is specific to our city and it is great! We have already met some great mommies and babies. How this network works is that you pay a fee of $40 per year, and this group sets up different events everyday of the month that you can choose from to attend. Some of the events include: scrapbooking club, infant play, swimming, mom's night out, family parties etc etc etc. It is a really great network. Loralai and I have created some great friendships so far! So we went this afternoon to one of the mommy's home and let the kids play, ate some sushi, and chit chatted the afternoon away.

Pictures from the weekend

Loralai and I went to Walmart and picked up a larger piece of black fabric so that we could continue to take our own pictures at home. So I have been wanting for a while now to take a picture of Loralai with the belly cast we did while I was pregnant. I thought they turned out pretty cute! and as always Loralai was a pretty good sport!

We decided to change it up a bit and take a few pictures with her (full) piggy bank! We started to put money in there before she was born. It looks like she is thinking how can I get into this thing! Definitely a mommy's girl lol.

Swingin' Park Fun

Loralai and I went to the park this afternoon after our walk and although this is not officially Loralai's first park visit, it is her second and what fun we had! I was worried at first that she was still too small for the park's baby swings but she was just a perfect size!

Loralai's 1st Halloween!

Happy Halloween!!

We went trick or treating and got some yummy goodies for mommy and daddy! but I think Loralai's favourite part was handing out candy at the door! we sat outside since it was a beautiful evening and Loralai watched all the kids come and go!

This is Loralai's little neighbour friend Landon (3.5 months old) he was a frog :) are they not just adorable!

Loralai Jumping :)

Buying Loralai her jumper was the best investment, she absolutely loves it! It is also by far one of my favourite activities she does, every time she is in there I just want to take her out and squeeze her (I refrain! lol) because she is just so darn adorable in it!! Sorry that it is side ways I am not sure how to turn it!

Crop Day Layouts

I went to a all day scrapbooking crop last Saturday with my cousins Carrie and Sarah and my aunt Kathy. We normally go to a couple of crops a year and this was my first crop since I have had Loralai, it is so much more fun now since I get to scrap about my most favourite subject! :) You wont see much journaling on the pages because I altered my 12x12 book and added in 8x8 pages which is where I journal!

This picture was taken this morning while I was getting Loralai ready for the day, she was just laughing her guts out! it was so cute :)





These two pictures are after we got dressed this morning before leaving for our mommy and me classes. It was a fun day :)

Loralai's First Snow!

So unfortunately it is snowing here today, our very first snow of the season. But it was Loralai's first experience with the white stuff so we were very excited and dressed her up and took her outside.

First, the snow suit is 6-9 months and Loralai is still in 0-3 months so it is huge; and second, when we took her out there is was so neat so see how she reacted! She looked at it and then when we laid her down she shut her eyes because the snow was hitting her little face! Too cute :) I can not wait to get her a little sled and pull her around!

Sitting Up :)

Loralai has just started to gain more control and sitting up for short periods of time, normally about 20 seconds or so before toppling over. This picture is of her this morning with her little friend Pearl. She really likes to sit up so when she can finally steady herself long enough I think that she will really enjoy the change of pace from the normal playing on her belly or back!
