I am so PROUD!! This story is awesome, Loralai for the very first time this afternoon rolled from her belly to her back, and THEN from her back to her belly!! all today :) She is rolling onto her left! I caught the very first rolling from her back to belly on video, but I wanted to post the entire roll. Now we will have to watch out she is on a roll lol!!

Loralai's big girl seat

We decided to get Loralai a high chair because she loves to be with us in the kitchen, and she got tired of either being on her Bumbo on the table or in her bouncy seat on the floor. She looks so little in the high chair, the tray is double the size she is!! When the tray is not on there is a smaller tray with a drink holder and Loralai just sits back and plops her feet up and relaxes...too cute!!

3 Month Picture
There is a local market that we hit just about every weekend, and there is a Until Dawn portrait studio located inside. I have always wanted to get Loralai's photo's done there because they do the themed fairytale and fantasy land sets, and I wanted to check out the prices so that I could get fairy photos of Loralai done. While I was talking to the owner/photographer she said that she loved the old vintage feel of the dress that Loralai had on and that had just purchased a new chair that she wanted to photograph and Loralai would be perfect for it, and she would give me a deal of $40 instead of the usual $75 that she charges. I wanted to get professional shots for Loralai's 3 months, so just one the spur of the moment we had this photo taken and I LOVE IT!!

2nd Time Around

I went to this store in the city here called Kids Closet, they have new and gently used baby and children's clothes. As some of you know babies grow out of clothes so fast when they are little so most of the items that I purchase from there are like brand new, or even still have the tags on them! I bought these pants and the shirt for between $2-3 a piece!
I probably wont as she gets older buy clothes from there because they will be more 'used' but for now why not save a few bucks for some brand name great stuff!!
Oh and the crib sheet I bought brand new for $12.99 from the same store! :)
I think that I am going to take some of the newborn sleepers and pants that she had grown out of there, so that someone else can get some great finds too!!

A 'Great' Love!!
Loralai is lucky to have 2 great-grandmas and a great-grandpa (my grandparents). Loralai's middle name Gloria is a tribute to her other great-grandma (Todd's grandma) that unfortunately passed just before we found out we were pregnant with her. Todd and I say that Loralai was a gift from her :) Below are some photos of Loralai spending some quality time with some of her greats!

The picture above is Loralai with her Great-grandma Eva, who is 95 years (minus two months) older then Loralai :) This is grandpa's mom.

Daddy's Little Girl
Loralai is definitely a daddy's girl. Todd comes home and she laughs and smiles and all he as to do is look at her most of the time, you can tell that they definitely have a bond! Loralai however is mommy's girl when she is upset, tired, or hurting (e.i: gas or when we accidentally nipped her finger when cutting her nails), but I think that is pretty typical when most children want their mommies the most.
Playtime is daddy's forte and it seems that she will fall asleep and stay more relaxed when with him. I think it is because Todd has a lot calmer demeanour then me.

Scrapbooking
I love, obsess, addicted, hooked, basically whatever you would like to call it, to scrapbooking!! I have been scrapbooking for about 5-6 years and find it to be my creative and emotional outlet, it makes me happy. There are many different styles of scrapbooking, simple to very elaborate, I think that I have found my place somewhere in between :)
Loralai is now my biggest inspiration, I love the fact that as she gets older she will be able to look back at these albums, and that for generations to come she will be able to tell a story with them. I am already behind in Loralai's book because of other obligations but I am trying to catch up slowly!
I thought I would share some pages I have completed in her very own scrapbook. Enjoy.
p.s. I am not a person that likes to journal on a page, in between the 12x12 pages there are 8x8 mini pages that tell all the journaling that relate to the pages and photos. I am also going to try and post a scrapbook page of the week.

The Bumbo Dispute
She loved the Bumbo in the beginning would sit in there, coo, smile, and most of the time poop! But lately, and I do not know if it is just the age/stage, but she goes in there and after 30 seconds if fussing to come out, she even pushes her bum up to try and get out. What makes me think that this is just a faze is that she has been doing this with a lot of her toys, the playmat is considered no longer fun after 5 minutes (if she can see someone else in the room), and her swing that used to put her to sleep in a matter of seconds, is alright for 20 minutes as long as a Baby Einstein video is playing! So maybe not liking this Bumbo chair is a faze, I hope so because that little chair cost mommy $60!!
An afternoon at the Zoo

I had wanted to go to the zoo for a while, so on a lazy Saturday we decided that it would be fun to head over and make an afternoon showing Loralai all the animals. We went to the Elmvale Zoo which is a good starter zoo, as it is small and all the animals are located pretty close together. Loralai was really great, she loved looking around at everything, although I wish I had brought the front carrier instead of just the stroller, we ended up carrying her most of the time just so that she could see more.
While we were walking Todd turned to me and asked:"what is the difference between our baby and everyone else child here?"
me: " ours is the most beautiful baby ever"
Todd: "well yea, but she is the only one without a hat!"
me: "oops"
So yea it was a bright, no cloud in the sky, beautiful sunny day, and Loralai's bad parents did not bring her a hat! lol. So we had to keep looking for spots to show her the animals in the shade! Note to self...better prepare next time with hat and front carrier! You think after 3 months I would have it down but no, not yet!
But we did have a fun day :)
Loralai does not look so impressed in this picture , maybe she just put two and two together when she was looking at the monkeys about how we call her a little monkey sometimes! lol

Favourite Picture of the Week :)
This picture of Loralai makes me giggle everytime that I look at it! She has been losing some of her hair lately (which everyone tells me is normal) and has thicker patches of hair on the two sides of her head, so Todd started twisting the one side and it stayed up, so he also did the other side too and I couldn't resist and had to take a picture. She is such an angel and a very good baby but it looks like little 'horns' if you know what I mean! lol.
