So this weekend our street held their annual street party! It is a way to get everyone together and get to know people a little bit better. It was potluck style so everyone that wanted to get involved brought a dish for the BBQ, there we had music playing, and fun times were had by all...maybe a little too much fun!
So because chasing a toddler around when there were no other kids her age, and putting her to bed with all the loud music was just not conducive to a relaxing time for Mommy, Loralai went and stayed with her Grandma and Grandpa for the night. So to make it up to here the next day we took a drive to a new (to her) park down by the water and enjoyed a bit of family time together. So here is my favourite picture of the weekend...
